Andrew is currently a 3rd year student at the Central Queensland Conservatorium of Music studying a Bachelor of Theatre specialising in Music Theatre. Andrew began performing at the age of 7 when he started learning the violin, he played in 2 strings orchestras before switching his instrument to trombone at 9. He continued playing the trombone through highschool and played in jazz and concert bands. Andrew began singing at the age of 13 when he joined his school's mixed and boys choir. From there he went to perform in 'The Little Mermaid' and play President Roosevelt in 'Annie'. While studying at university, Andrew has been in the stage productions of 'The Mystery of Edwin Drood' directed by Matt Young, 'Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown' directed by James Lee. He was cast Mr. Mushnik in 'Little Shop of Horrors' directed by Maureen Bowra, Danny Maguire in 'Xanadu' directed by Dale Pengelly. In the coming weeks, he will play Frank in 'Ladies in Black' directed by Peter Cousens and Anatoly Sergievsky in Mackay Choral Society's 'Chess the Musical. He has also performed in 3 student run tours with the Queensland Police, 'Choices' (2021 and 2022) and Safety Circus (2021).
